Sorry Avatarians [:D] but imo, District 9 trumped Avatar. Sure, Avatar had asskicking graphics to boot, but honestly though, the story was such a Pocohantas-ripoff. District 9 ftw!

The storyline to Avatar seemed very cliche and plot is predictable.
You got to love the vivid photo realistic graphics seamless collage with live action.
Looks like The Hurt Locker won lot of awards at the Oscars.
