My sister is going to get a Macbook Air for her birthday.
Macbook Air.. It's really pretty, thin at the extreme and completely gorgeous.. But, overrated. Overrated just like any other Apple product. No offence, the Ipods were FTOW, I'll give them credit for that. But other than that, I don't comprehend why Apple had to switch from regular PC's to Macs that have the exact features as a normal PC when they oh-so-proudly announced that Macs would have better specs.
Regular Mac User : Ohhh LOOKIIEE. My Macbook Air has Internet access!
Regular PC User : Uh huh. *rolls eyes* So does my PC, dumbass. *quickly slips MacAir into a bin* Anyway, Where is that $3000 worth of pure overrated aneroxicness?
Regular Mac User : Ehh? Where is it?? Did you see it in the first place?
Regular PC User : *smirks* No, not really.
Regular Mac User : Yeah me neither. O_o
Yeah. I like the thin-ness and all. But this is just too much. Manilla card sized? Puh-lease.
Hmm. Let's look at an Urban Dictionary definition of the MacAir...
The 64gb solid state drive will cost you $999 and the biggest hard drive size is 80gb 4200rpm, the ethernet port was removed and an external one has to be purchased if needed, there's only 1 usb port, the cd/dvd drive was removed and its $99 to purchase one separately. The fastest processor is 1.80ghz. Ventilation can't be too good because of the small size. The battery is also non user replaceable, the RAM is soldered on, and it uses mono speakers. It also has an incredibly stupid name.
Uh huh. So when we buy a Macbook Air, all we get is....that? NO wait. That's not right. We buy a MacAir, but not all the important stuff a basic PC is founded on.
80 gigabytes? Pfffft. That's just lame..Pavillion which was about Rm2500, has better specs than a MacAir. It has 5 ordinary USB ports compared to a MacAir's 0 normal ports. You have to buy some kinda USB hub thing. It has a 250 gig hard drive compared to a MacAir's 80 gig. Uh huh. 80? Oh right, my Pavillion actually has a DVD drive. A MacAir has none. It's not like you possibly can fit any drive inside a MacAir thanks to its OTT thinness. Ohh, and my processer is 2.4ghz. A Mac's is 1.80. Huge difference, kid..
Also, the MacAir is ridiculously overpriced.. I don't understand the rationality on why we have to pay RM3000+ for something so outdated. It's like you're only paying for the anorexicness. =\
Call me a double standards practicing idiot, a Motorola RAZR is extremely thin too. But then again, a RAZR is reasonably priced. Seen the specs? =D
And the Iphone... XP...Did you seriously think that after ranting about the MacAir, I wouldn't drivel about something even worse?
The iPhone...is stupid. I'll bet that I could find about 10 other phones that are better than this. So what if it's a mutant crossbreed between an ipod and a phone? I could just buy an Ipod and a phone. Sorry, but I think that's about a gazillion miles better than being iPhone'd..
Blahh, it's overrated FULLSTOP.

Macs and PCs? I have heard it all before. Some say such and such as better. Screw it! I'm bias towards PC because so used to using one. Been years since I last touched a Mac.
Working is clothes shop can be boring sometimes, all I do put out stock or tidy. But it beats catering any day.
Undecided over the new Indiana movie. Harrison Ford is old and his stunts seem unconvincing. Looking forward to new Batman and James Bond film.
I really should return to my studies as next month is a major project. Won't be adding any more post to my blog but still can respond to any comments.
